The Relief Road saga rolls on with the planning hurdle looming large. As predicted the anti-road lobby has been working hard and raised a number of objections. I have been trying to combat
that with a campagin to get the local voice heard.
On Friday I submitted over 1100 letters of support for the scheme.
Thanks to everyone for responding.
I've also been meeting with and talking to the environmental organisations to try to meet their reasonable concerns and work with County Council officers to ensure the scheme stands the best
possible chance of getting planning permission and avoiding a public inquiry.
