Welcome to my website.

It covers my work in Dorset, in Parliament, and on national campaigns. It now also contains more political information and views, with more opportunities for you to feedback what you think.

So let me know what you think,

What a mixed week! The local elections were not a disaster but not good. In Weymouth we gained one from the Tories but lost two others. I had to comment on results on Sky TV between 4.30am and 6am - how enlightening for the viewer...

On Friday we finally got confirmation that the Government will not call the relief road planning permission in for public enquiry. Fantastic news and the culmination of huge amounts of work.

Jim presenting cheque to fundraisers at Osprey Leisure Centre   Then on Saturday I opened the new leisure centre on Portland, at the old Boscawen Centre. This is a major achievement by a group of volunteers working for about ten years to pull this off.

Finally to Bournemouth today to speak at the conference of the National Association of Headteachers, via the Emirates stadium to see Arsenal draw with Chelsea.
