Had an interesting surgery at Swanage Youth Centre.  As normal I met constituents whose circumstances needed support from their MP, but I also met with some of those campaigning to challenge the propoals to cut night time opening at the minor injuries unit at Swanage Hospital.

We had a useful discussion.  We concluded that in an ideal world we would move back to the medical practice managing the hospital and the out of hours service.  We are along way from that point now but it raised more questions in my mind as to where we should push the primary care trust.  I also think there is a compelling case for some form of health forum in the town to keep the interest and accountability that this campaign has effectively generated.

Also delighted that both Weymouth and Arsenal won 3-1 away from home in the football.  A great day!
